1. If selected, the rug MUST be placed in the approved property and cannot be moved to a different listing. We will be checking photos and if the rug appears to be in the incorrect property, you will be contacted and asked to move it to the correct one. Property managers, please work with your owners if their property is selected so they can be part of the design selection - they will love you for it!
2. Measure the space and choose the ideal placement BEFORE applying to ensure the rug will fit.
3. This showcase runs for 12 months, which means the rug and associated marketing must remain at the property for the full duration. If you are no longer managing the property midway through the campaign, the owner must agree to continue displaying the marketing, and you’ll need to share their contact information with UpClose. If the owner does not wish to continue, you may coordinate with them to retrieve the rug and place it at another eligible property.
4. Place marketing stand near rug and take at least three (3) photos.
5. Leave rug and marketing stand on display for 1 year (until August 15, 2027).
6. Complete the host feedback survey and upload photos through the UpClose website by October 15, 2026. We need 100% compliance.
7. Optional Bonus: If you have social media, please post with the hashtag #StyledWithAmericanDakota and tag @americandakota and @upclosemarketing. Please take a screenshot of posts and submit through the website as well.
8. Recommendation: Show off your new rug by adding an updated photo to your listing link.
